Code 95 – Certificate of Professional Competence

Code 95, also known as the Certificate of Professional Competence, is an entry in a driving licence that confirms the qualifications necessary to transport people or goods safely and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Every driver with a category D or D+E driving licence who wants to work officially in Poland or other European Union countries must complete training to obtain code 95.

A driver who obtained a category D licence before 9 September 2008 may take a short training course and, upon completion, receive Code 95 without having to take an examination.
Drivers who obtained a D licence after 9 September 2008 are required to complete a long training course (one-off). The course ends with a state examination consisting of 30 questions covering the material covered during the training.

Thereafter, every 5 years, it is sufficient to complete a short periodic training course to confirm professional qualifications.

The training is conducted in accordance with Directive 2003/59/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 July 2003.

Important: On the date of expiry of the Certificate of Professional Competence, the document becomes invalid and its holder loses the right to practise as a driver if he or she has not completed periodic training and does not have valid medical and psychological examinations.

How we organise the course

At Intraservis, we work exclusively with certified and experienced training centres that deliver courses in accordance with applicable laws and European Union requirements.

contact and cooperation with the training centre,
organisation of medical and psychological examinations,
formal and documentary support at every stage,
preparation of the driver from completion of the course to starting work.

Course Program

Stage 1

Training:

- 139 hours of combined theory and practical training 
- 97 hours of distance learning, 
- 33 hours of classes in the training center, 
- 8 hours of driving in the training center, 
- 1 hour on the simulator at the training center.

Stage 2

State Exam:

20 general questions
10 specialized questions

We guarantee a positive outcome of the examination.

If you fail the training course, the costs incurred will be refunded in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

Participation Requirements

Participants must be at least 21 years old;
Have no medical or psychological contraindications to; working as a driver;
Hold a category D driving licence;
Sign an agreement secured with a notarial surety;
Commit to working as a bus driver for a minimum of 12 months after completing the training.

Course cost

The Code 95 course is free of charge for drivers.

The cost of training, medical examinations and psychological tests is covered in full by Intraservis in the amount of PLN 3,850.

The driver bears the cost of the course only if they do not work for 12 months in one of our job offers as a bus driver.

Costs incurred by the driver

The driver only has to cover the formal fees:

3.5 × 4.5 cm photograph – PLN 50,
fee for interpreting during the signing of documents at the notary's office – PLN 250–300,
cost of translating the driving licence – PLN 100–120.

Terms of cooperation

Participation in the programme involves:

signing a contract with a notarial guarantee,
taking up employment as a bus driver after completing training,
a minimum period of employment of 12 months in one of our job offers.
