About the offer

A large Polish family-owned company, one of the leading suppliers of fresh bananas in Poland and neighboring countries, is looking for experienced forklift operators for its facility in Gdynia.

Type of сontract

  • Civil-law contract – Umowa zlecenie.

Job Description

  • transporting pallets with bananas within the warehouse;
  • loading and unloading trucks;
  • placing and removing pallets in storage/ripening chambers;
  • assisting warehouse workers in preparing pallets for transport.

Salary

Hourly rate: 26,18 PLN net, monthly 4390 – 6540 PLN net.

For students under 26: 32,53 PLN net/hour, monthly 5460 – 8130 PLN net.

Salary is paid in a single payment.

Work schedule

Work in a two-shift system, 7 days a week (Saturdays and Sundays are shorter shifts).
Overtime work is possible.

  • 1st shift: 6:00–14:00
  • 2nd shift: 14:00–22:00

Days off are arranged according to employee preferences (the schedule for the following month is prepared by the 20th of each month).

Accommodation

Accommodation provided in fully equipped apartments with 2-person rooms in Gdynia. Monthly cost: 750 PLN. A 200 PLN deposit is required (refunded after the first salary payment).

The apartment is located close to shops and approx. 800 m from a public transport stop. Commute by train from Karwiny station to Port Lotniczy takes up to 20 minutes, followed by a 400 m walk to the facility. Total commute time: up to 30 minutes. Monthly public transport ticket costs approx. 140 PLN.

Documents and Legalisation

  • Free assistance with legalisation (residence cards, etc.).
  • Free preparation of employment documents.

Workwear and medical check-up

  • work clothing provided by the agency after one week;
  • safety shoes provided on the first working day (50% of the cost deducted from salary);
  • assistance with sanitary-epidemiological medical examination provided (cost covered by the agency).
