About the offer

A company specializing in the production of covers for sofas, corner units and couches is looking for sewing operators for its facility in Września.

Type of сontract

  • Civil-law contract – Umowa zlecenie. 

Job Description

  • sewing covers for sofas, corner units and couches;
  • joining various materials: fabrics, eco-leather, natural leather;
  • operating industrial sewing machines – flat stitch (stebnówka), overlock, coverstitch (renderka);
  • regularly checking machine condition and performing basic maintenance (needle replacement, cleaning);
  • reading templates and cutting patterns;
  • following guidelines regarding dimensions and sewing technology;
  • checking seam quality, thread tension, stitch alignment and colour consistency;
  • reporting material defects or faulty components.

Requirements

  • ability to sew using industrial sewing machines;
  • accuracy, diligence and precision;
  • knowledge of different stitch types and fabric-joining techniques;
  • experience in industrial sewing (strong advantage);
  • good manual dexterity and hand coordination;
  • ability to work with large material components;
  • readiness to work shifts;
  • ability to work at production pace.

Salary

Hourly rate: 27,95 PLN net, monthly 4690 – 6140 PLN net.

For students under 26: 34,61 PLN net/hour, monthly 5810 – 7610 PLN net.

Salary is paid in a single payment.

Work schedule

Work from Monday to Friday in two shifts:

  • 1st shift: 6:00–14:00
  • 2nd shift: 14:00–22:00

Overtime and weekend work (Saturday/Sunday) possible upon supervisor’s approval.

Two 20-minute breaks.

Accommodation

Comfortable, fully equipped accommodation with 2–3-person rooms provided near the workplace. Cost: 750 PLN per month.

Documents and Legalisation

  • Free assistance with legalisation (residence cards, etc.).
  • Free preparation of employment documents.

Workwear and medical check-up:

  • Workwear, medical examinations and health & safety training provided.
