About the offer – CE tipper driver in Germany

We are recruiting category C+E drivers to operate trucks with tipping semi-trailers in Germany. The base is located in Borchen, near Paderborn. The employer is a transport and freight forwarding company specialising in the transport of bulk materials (including stone, crushed stone, fertilisers and glass).

Job responsibilities

• driving a tractor unit with a tipping semi-trailer;
• transporting stone, crushed stone, fertilisers, glass, sludge, industrial waste and mixed loads;
• carrying out loading and unloading operations, including unloading bulk materials by raising the tipper body;
• operating hydraulic equipment;
• completing and maintaining transport documentation, including weighbridge tickets and waste transport documents;
• taking care of the assigned truck and keeping it in proper condition.

Working conditions

• Fleet: Mercedes, Iveco and DAF vehicles.
• Each driver is assigned a regular vehicle combination.
• A Polish-speaking mechanic works on site.

Requirements

• category C+E driving licence with Code 95;
• tachograph;
• experience working as a truck driver, including driving vehicle combinations weighing approximately 40 tonnes;
• passing a practical test before starting work.

Foreign language skills are not required — a translator may be used when needed.

Work schedule

Work from Monday to Friday, with weekends off. Two trips per week. Drivers return to their accommodation for the weekends.

Pay

Salary: €2,650 net per month.

The salary is paid into a bank account in a single transfer.

Accommodation and transport

Accommodation is provided in a single room with a refrigerator. The cost is €250 per person per month (all utility bills included). Residents have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and Wi-Fi.

Truck parking is available approximately 50 metres from the house or at the base. There are few shops near the accommodation, so drivers can stop for shopping on their way back from work.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building. Breaking this rule results in immediate eviction from the accommodation.
