Boekel is a small, peaceful town located in the southern Netherlands, in the province of North Brabant (Noord-Brabant). It is the administrative centre of the municipality of the same name and has around 10,800 residents. The town lies about 22 metres above sea level, between Uden (8 km) and Gemert (10 km), with Eindhoven reachable in roughly 35 minutes.
Boekel combines a rural atmosphere with modern amenities. The centre features shops, schools, restaurants, a pharmacy, a medical centre, and bus connections to Uden and Veghel.
