Hunsel is a small, quiet village located in the southeastern Netherlands, in the province of Limburg. It is part of the Leudal municipality and has around 1,100 residents. The village lies about 30 metres above sea level, roughly 8 kilometres from Weert and 20 kilometres from Roermond.
