About the offer – Forklift operator with UDT license

We are looking for forklift operators to work at a printing company in Szczecin. The company produces a wide range of products, including pictures, photographs printed on various surfaces, calendars, advertising banners, printed cushions, mugs and magnets. This is a seasonal job for 3 months, with the possibility of permanent employment.

Contract type

• Civil-law contract (umowa zlecenie).

Job duties

• operating a forklift and carrying out routine warehouse tasks related to receiving, unloading, positioning and loading goods;
• picking products and preparing orders in accordance with documentation and production requirements;
• checking that incoming and outgoing goods meet quantity and quality requirements;
• using a warehouse scanner and correctly recording operations in the system;
• reading and applying information provided on labels, markings and warehouse documents;
• correctly positioning and storing products in accordance with warehouse organisation rules;
• monitoring the condition of goods entrusted to you and protecting them from damage during transport, storage and loading;
• maintaining a clean and tidy workstation and complying with occupational health and safety rules;
• performing other warehouse tasks as instructed by the supervisor.

Working conditions

• The temperature in the production area is comfortable — approximately 21°C.
• Employees have access to a changing room with lockers and a fully equipped dining area. Free coffee, tea, water from dispensers and fruit are available.
• There are no strong odours in the production hall. Noise from machinery is moderate and does not interfere with work.

Requirements

• UDT forklift operator certification — II WJO;
• accuracy and diligence in carrying out tasks;
• warehouse experience and the ability to use a scanner will be additional advantages.

Work schedule

Shift work from 6:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00. During the season, shifts may be extended to 12 hours depending on requirements. Night shifts and weekend work may also be required during the peak season. An 8-hour shift includes a 20-minute paid break.

Salary

Hourly rate: PLN 26.83 net. Monthly pay: PLN 5100 – 6430 net.

For students under 26 (gross=net): PLN 33.23 net/hour, PLN 6300 – 7975 net/month; for participants in the studiujepracuje.pl programme: PLN 38.23 net/hour (36.23 + PLN 2 for working at least 200 hours per month), PLN 7260–9175/month.

Bonuses and additional payments are available:

• for night work: +PLN 5 gross/hour;
• for weekend work: +PLN 5 gross/hour;
• for work in the sewing department: +PLN 2.20 gross/hour;
• for work with canvas: the additional payment for producing pictures can reach PLN 2000 gross;
• attendance bonus: PLN 400 gross.

The additional payments of PLN 5 gross/hour for night work and weekend work cannot be combined.

Conditions for receiving bonuses:

• no more than 3 days of absence per month, including sick leave;
• no more than 2 instances of lateness, each lasting up to 30 minutes;
• no disciplinary penalties;
• compliance with applicable workplace rules and standards;
• notifying the employer of lateness or absence by email or phone using the contact details provided in the information leaflet issued on the first working day, with planned absences reported at least one day in advance.

Bonuses may be reduced for the following reasons:

• lateness without a valid reason;
• absence due to unpaid leave.

Paid in a single bank transfer.

Employee referral bonus – PLN 200*

Accommodation

Not required.

Additional information

• Wear your own comfortable clothing and closed-toe, flat-soled shoes.
• The printing company is located in the Niebuszewo district on the left-bank side of Szczecin, with convenient access to public transport.
• Transport: buses 80, 67, 60 and 107 — “Lubeckiego Wiadukt” stop; trams 5, 6 and 11 — “Dobromiry” stop.

Employee referral bonus

*Refer a friend or acquaintance to work on this contract and receive a bonus for a successful referral. The bonus is now PLN 200 and is paid once the referred employee has worked 168 hours.
