About the offer – Extruder operator in the manufacture of PVC profiles

We are looking for an experienced extrusion process operator for the production of multi-chamber PVC profiles in Wrocław, Poland – in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The role involves working on extrusion lines. The employer is a manufacturer of PVC profiles for windows and doors, roller shutters and PVC panels, hybrid systems, aluminium window profiles and aluminium façade solutions.

Job Description

• full operation, changeover and parameter setting of extrusion lines for multi-chamber window profiles;
• operating and supervising extrusion lines for multi-chamber profiles;
• preparing the production line to start the extrusion process;
• setting technological process parameters;
• starting, stopping and stabilising the extrusion process;
• quality control of finished products using measuring instruments;
• checking dimensions, geometry and surface quality of profiles;
• responding to deviations from process parameters and adjusting line settings;
• mounting and dismounting dies, calibrators and other line tooling;
• cooperating with the maintenance department during inspections and repairs;
• keeping production records;
• following health and safety, fire safety and plant procedures;
• keeping the workstation clean and tidy and looking after the technical condition of equipment.

Requirements

• vocational education;
• at least 3 years of experience in multi-chamber PVC extrusion;
• ability to operate production machinery;
• ability to read technological documentation and production cards;
• basic knowledge of control systems (operator panels, PLC);
• experience with production reporting systems;
• UDT certificate for operating forklifts and/or overhead cranes;
• category B driving licence;
• ability to communicate in Polish or English – welcome;
• knowledge of German is an advantage;
• SEP electrical qualifications – an advantage.

Salary

Monthly salary: 8,925–9,560 PLN gross.

Attendance bonus of 500 PLN gross.

Salary is paid in a single payment.

Work schedule

Shift work: 1st shift: 6:00 – 18:00; 2nd shift: 18:00 – 6:00. Monthly: 168–180 hours.
