A poultry farm in the Netherlands is looking for workers to vaccinate chickens. The work involves manual vaccination of chicks in specially prepared facilities using professional equipment. Full training is provided before starting.
Job Description
- vaccinating chickens according to established procedures;
- quality control of performed tasks;
- maintaining cleanliness at the workplace;
- following hygiene and animal welfare standards.
Vaccination is performed under the wing or into the breast muscle. Each employee works in a pair — one person holds the chick, and the other vaccinates. After some time, they switch roles. The chickens do not need to be caught – once vaccinated, they are gently placed into a separate area.
Requirements
- readiness for physical work in a fast-paced environment;
- good manual dexterity and precision;
- ability to handle repetitive tasks;
- no allergies or health contraindications for working with live animals;
- reliability and availability;
- Dutch language skills are welcome.
Salary
Hourly rate: 17.55€ gross (basic rate 14.71€ + 2.84€ supplement).
Monthly earnings: 2800 – 3510 € gross.
Overtime:
- +25% for hours above 40/week,
- +100% for Sundays.
Salary is paid in a single payment.

Shift-based system. Overtime and Sunday work possible.
Accommodation
Comfortable, fully equipped accommodation provided (cost €530/month) and local transport arranged.
